The M-KOPA team includes founders and senior management from the Vodafone and Safaricom award winning M-PESA service, and a team of Kenyan and international staff with extensive backgrounds in software development, distribution, finance and customer care.

	Anne joined M-KOPA in 2011 having previously worked with Deutsche Bank, CARE Kenya and Mobile Ventures Kenya,  serving in Operations, Customer Care and I.T. support. Anne has a B.A. in Business Administration from Goshen College, and over 10 years experience in tech support and admin.		June  joined M-KOPA in early 2012. She brings over 6 years’ experience in Customer Care  having worked at Vodafone(UK),GTV, Multichoice Kenya and SMART  TV. June  holds a Postgraduate certification in Finance & Economics  from Middlesex University  Business School and BBA (Finance & Banking) from Maseno  University.
	Chad Larson   Director of Finance		Nick Hughes   Director of Strategy  (London, UK)
	Chad is a founder of M-KOPA , having previously served as the CFO  of Mecene Investment , the fund manager of the Africap Microfinance Investment Fund in Johannesburg.  Chad is a CFA charterholder and has an MBA with distinction from Oxford University, as well as 10 years investment banking experience at Bank of America.		Nick leads M-KOPA’s new product and new market activities. He is a founder of M-KOPA and was previously Managing Director of Signal Point Partners, the advisory and venture firm that started M-KOPA.  Until 2009, Nick was Head of Global Payments at Vodafone Group, where he started M-PESA in 2004. Nick has PhD in Applied Science, an MBA from London Business School, and received an Economist Innovation Award in 2010.
	Edwin Kaduki   Head of Technology		Pauline Vaughan   Director of Operations
	Edwin joined M-KOPA in 2011 having previously served as Senior Systems Consultant at Knowing Ltd in Nairobi, a Kenyan software firm developing solutions for commercial banks, investment banks and government. Edwin has over 13 years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions.		Pauline joined M-KOPA early 2012, bringing with her rich experience in scaling up mobile innovation.  She worked for 10 years at Safaricom, 4 of which were in the M-PESA Management team. She is Kenya born and passionate about bettering the lives of Kenyans. Pauline has a BSC in Civil Engineering from Cape Town University.
	Jesse Moore   Managing Director		Adams Amenya Head of Sales
	A Canadian resident in Kenya, Jesse has more than 10 years experience advising and investing in emerging market ventures. Prior to starting M-KOPA, Jesse was a founder of Signal Point Partners and the director of the GSMA Development Fund.  He holds an MBA from Oxford University (Skoll Scholar) and a BA from UNC Chapel Hill (Morehead Scholar).		Adams joined the M-KOPA team in December 2012 having spent 16 years with various FMCG multinationals. A graduate of University of Nairobi (B Comm), Adams brings a wealth of experience gained at Wonderfoods, Coca-Cola, Reckitt Benkiser, Haco Tigerbrands and most recently Unga Holdings.  Adams has spent more than 6 years of his career living and working as Country Manager/Business Development Manager in various East African countries.
